Structural Biology Core

Goal & Research Areas

Structural Biology Core offers the unique capabilities in X-ray macromolecular crystallography, spectroscopy and imaging, small angle scattering and cryogenic electron microscopy and tomography which are housed at the SLAC campus of Stanford University. We believe structure-based design and optimization of therapeutic reagents are exciting and standard approaches in pharmaceutical discoveries. Our Core has dedicated personnel to work with you and your lab staff on solving the structures of RNAs, proteins, macromolecular machines, organelles and cellular organization with and without intervention agents
